Wordpress is the phenomenon (yeah I do believe it is one) that made a lot of dreams come true. It created a bridge between people without any kind of programming knowledge and the fact of being live and writing for people. The road is so much shorter for many of them. Why start a new website from scratch when you have the most popular CMS available for download for free. Why pay for that when the result might never be better or sooner. In a very small amount of time it managed to change the internet by making the information run faster.
